Project
Overview
In an effort to introduce the new YMCA Learning Hub platform to internal employees, we produced four engaging commercial videos entirely through virtual production. The campaign brought the platform to life through creative, dynamic environments while highlighting its features and benefits in an entertaining and memorable way.
The Challenge
The YMCA was preparing to launch a major update to its internal employee software platform, marking the first significant update in nearly a decade. With so many changes to communicate, we wanted to avoid overwhelming employees with a long list of updates and features. Instead, we created four humorous and relatable commercial concepts designed to bring the changes to life, making the new YMCA Learning Hub feel approachable, exciting, and easy for employees to understand.
The Process
Working closely with the YMCA team, we developed ten unique creative concepts, with four ultimately selected to become the final commercials. Throughout the process, we collaborated with stakeholders across departments to ensure each concept aligned with the organization’s goals and communicated the key updates employees needed to know.
By bringing everyone into the creative process, we were able to turn a complex software rollout into four engaging, relatable stories that made the changes easy and fun to understand
“Just seeing the technology and software capabilities JV Studios was using, we knew they would be a great team to work with. Once we understood the wide range of creative and production capabilities they brought to the table, we knew JV Studios was the right fit for this project. They had the expertise and creativity we needed to help us successfully roll out our new program to our employees.”

The Results
The four commercials were launched across the YMCA’s internal employee network as part of the rollout for the new Learning Hub platform, helping introduce the updates in a way that was engaging, relatable, and easy to understand. The campaign was also supported by a coordinated merchandise rollout, extending the creative beyond the videos and into the broader launch. The project received additional exposure when ARRI featured the work across their own pages and press channels, helping showcase the campaign and the creative approach behind it.
